Keep hospitals pathogen-free

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections) account for an estimated 1.7 million infections and 99,000 associated deaths each year. These HAIs in U.S. hospitals have direct medical costs of at least $28.4 billion each year. They also account for an additional $12.4 billion to society from early deaths and lost productivity.

Our products’ Powered by HYGEN® technology provides both low-level disinfection and mid-level disinfection at short contact times and broad efficacy kill claims to assist Environmental Services (EVS) and Infection Preventionists. These products are known to help reduce the pathogens leading to HAIs and improve turnovers of patient rooms, high traffic floors, and operating rooms. Additionally, they also aid in performing disinfection protocols of non-critical (e.g., blood pressure cuffs, bed railings, aesthesia equipment, COWs, etc.), certain semi-critical medical surfaces (e.g., hydro-therapy tanks), and adjunct processes before and during terminal cleaning.
